Sorry Aunt Eva!

Hey...sorry it took us so long to post for you.

Yes... for his birthday we also got him a gate to trap him downstairs... aren't we so nice:) OK... now Aunt Eva...hurry up already and have our niece...geez!

Nana and Pappa

Nana and Pappa came in town early so that we could try and spend some time at the zoo on Friday. It was a beautiful day, and we had a lot of fun. Nana and Pappa got to ride with Preston on his first car ride facing forward:)Preston loved showing Daddy all the cool things he sawMommy got in on a picture too... so we had to post it:)Daddy tried to show Preston how cool the Polar Bears look from a higher view point

Nana helped out as Preston's sun visor for the day:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESTON!!!!

Preston turned the big "1" on the 24th... it has finally come and gone, and now our little boy is a whole year old...craziness!

Yes... Preston is holding one of Seth's socks... he loves helping me with the laundry just so that he can get into the socks, and then he'll carry them around with him throughout the day.

That afternoon we gave him one of his duckie birthday cookies... he absolutely loved it

And this is one of the presents Daddy and Mommy got for Preston... his first lucky baseball cap:)

NOW PRESENTING...

so... I know it is silly... but this was like reality setting in when Preston and I went to Sam's to pick up his last can of formula... I know it is going to be amazing not having to spend all our money on formula ... but.... on the other hand... it means my baby is growin up:( he is well on his way to ... TODDLER...

You're Invited!

Preston's 1st birthday party is in about 2 weeks... so he passed out his first invitation the other day to Elijah... and of course I had to get it on camera to share with everyone:)

And this is Preston ... going back to steal the envelope so that he could play with it.

On a side note... here is a funny little story....

The other day... someone (I'm not going to mention who) used our bathroom downstairs. Without knowing... this person pulled the toilet paper up with their pants, and proceeded to walk up the stairs dragging our poor toilet paper along with them. They were thankfully comprehended soon afterwards because of the trail they left behind.

...I thought that at least Eva would get a kick out of this one... I thought it was hilarious

Feelin' The Heat:)

Well last Sunday was so beautiful, so Patty and I decided to take the kids to the zoo. Preston however, has been teething...we have seen 3 beautiful teeth show up in the past week or so ... soon to be a 4th. Things have been pretty rough on the poor guy... and he acted like it was complete torcher without his binky at the zoo... so Mommy let him keep it... I'm a sucker what can I say? :) Gettin ready to go into the zooHere they are... don't they look so excited? :)Preston was pointing at everything. It was hard to catch it on camera... he would stop every time he saw us pull it out. Here is a little point that we were able to get on film. His favorite was the polar bear... he kept rubbing his chest/belly saying please and pointing... like he wanted to play with him. It was really adorable.
It was actually so warm at the zoo that Preston got to take his shoes and socks off, and he loved sitting there playin with his toes:)Pointing at the fish in the aquariumAunt Patty with Elijah... don't they look so cute matching;)Here are the penguins we saw outside...
