6 MONTHS OLD!!!

Today Preston turned 6 months old...a whole 1/2 of a year... craziness!

He likes to chew on things...

A little story:

Look what he can findly do! We are so excited that he has learned to keep his binky in his mouth instead of his thumb... we kept trying to give it to him to atleast chew on and then just a couple days ago it almost fell out of his mouth while he was chewing on it...so he sucked it back in... and then I guess things clicked for him and now he loves to have his binky:)

GO BENGALS!!!!

Yesterday afternoon we sat down for a little bit to watch the Bengals game

with Daddy... we didn't make it through the whole game... but it was a good effort:)

Then he decided to try and chew on his bear... so silly

A little update: Preston is now saying Mamma and Dadda... Yes... Dadda came first... and then he said Mamma like 2 seconds later... I was so close!

When Preston was born my old school sent him this shirt...and I couldn't wait till he could fit in it... but by the time I tried it on him it was already almost too small
These pictures are almost a month old now... but I still wanted to put these up...because I can't take any new pictures of him in it because now he definitely doesn't fit in it :)

A few days later we went to my highschool's homecoming alumni soccer game...and he got to wear the shirt one last time:)
We were very excited to watch Daddy play in the alumni game (He is the one playing defense in the white shorts... it's as close as I could zoom in)

Getting Stronger

This morning I took a picture of Preston sitting up... he is getting better and better every day

He leaned a little too far:)

He is still trying to get the whole rolling over thing... he does it every once in a while....instead he tries to push himself forward with his legs like he is crawling.

Visiting old friends

We usually go to Aunt Patty's appointments with her... so that we can check up on Elijah and hear his heartbeat... so while we were there last time we got a couple pictures.

This is the nurse that we saw during the pregnancy... she is such a riot... and loves seeing Preston when he comes in.

Dr. Goechel was the one that performed the C-Section and helped to deliver Preston safely. We are very thankful for him and that we had such an amazing doctor.

First time at the zoo!!!

On Tuesday the three of us (Katie, Mommy, and Preston) set out to go to the zoo... we had a lot of fun.... however... it was a little hot...seeing as how it was still 85 degrees here in September!

Sucking down his food with his thumb...we don't usually let him-however he is always trying to do it... we just wanted to show his Nana, Papa, Aunt Eva, Uncle Cory, and Tia everything he has been doin lately:)

First animal we saw was the elephants

Preston was loving it, but he couldn't see very well from the stroller so we had to take him out to look at everything:)

Then we went to see the monkeys... Preston couldn't stop looking at the waterfall though.
